A Perfect 10

The Beckham's are cleverly featured in the latest issue from 10 Magazine, on his and hers versions of the glossy.

In the feature article, Victoria talks about her fashion line saying, "My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore. And who'd have thought I'd be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!" (Said dress pictured below.)

If you're a Beckham fan this magazine is worth buying, because the photo spread is 40 pages long, shot by Cedric Buchet. It also happens to be the 10th anniversary issue.

The "Other" Kind Of iPad

When we first heard about the Apple iPad, there was a double entendre going on in our heads. It seems a few other people thought the same thing, so here's a video from back in 2007 that illustrates the alternative thought quite well.

Courtesy of MadTV...

And here it is...

The Apple iPad. Wi-Fi models shipping in late March. 3G models shipping in April. The iPhone/laptop hybrid starts at a cool $499. Tech geeks, click here to be notified of when it becomes available.

And The Color Of The Year Is...

Turquoise! A few weeks ago, Pantone announced the official color of 2010 to be PANTONE® 15-5519 Turquoise and we love it. It even goes with the color of our site!
“In many cultures, Turquoise occupies a very special position in the world of color,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “It is believed to be a protective talisman, a color of deep compassion and healing, and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky. Through years of color word-association studies, we also find that Turquoise represents an escape to many – taking them to a tropical paradise that is pleasant and inviting, even if only a fantasy.”
For the fashion world, Pantone says:
Turquoise makes a statement that can look elegant and dressy in fine silk and gemstones, or casual and fun in cotton and athletic apparel. Because of its versatility, Turquoise is a great accent color in jewelry, purses, shoes, hair accessories and even nail polish for women, and ties, shirts and sportswear for men.

Spin It: Train

Train's latest single to climb the charts "Hey, Soul Sister" has been playing on the radio a lot lately and we're loving it! This catchy tune has brought the band back onto our radar since their single "Drops of Jupiter" back in 2001. The music video for "Hey, Soul Sister" is pretty basic, and while the use of illustration and text has been done before, it's still pretty cool to watch the story unfold. Check it out below.

H&M Women's Spring 2010 Collection

Following up our post from yesterday, we've got some images from H&M's women's collection for your readers to take a peak at. The collection looks edgy, featuring many of the season's hot items. This spring H&M did parachute pants with paper bag waste, large ethnic jewelry and smoking jacket, all of which are strong trends that have carried through from this past summer. So, if you didn't get your fix of any of these trends the last time it was warm outside, then your second chance to embrace them is around the corner. Silky satin fabrics and floral prints run through the collection, which gives a feminine complement to some of the more structured pieces.

H&M Men's Spring 2010 Collection

With winter still in full force, there's nothing we can do but begin to dream of the slow nearing spring. H&M released its spring collections a while back, but now seems to be a more appropriate time to start looking at spring merchandise, especially from a fast fashion company like H&M. The men's collection appears to include quite a spectrum of styles, a mixture of classics with some of the on-trend items of the moment. The introduction of patterns is a great addition to menswear, which often consists mainly of solids. Red tones also create quite the bang in this collection and add dash of passion and power via color. The only faux-pas we feel strongly about is the Birkenstock-esque sandals. Who decided those looked good with dress pants, because as far as we're concerned, it looks gosh darn frumpy.

Channing Tatum Is Proud Of His ______

Channing Tatum is on the cover of the combined January/February 2010 issue of Details magazine and the actor gives a rather unusual, but interesting cover story interview. Here's the opener:
Channing Tatum's penis is gross. It looks like a hot dog that's been left too long on the grill. The tip is hot-pink, singed, and shriveled. It appears angry. And it's painful to view. My penis hurts just from looking at it. Movie stars tend to be vain, by nature and profession, but Chan—that's what everyone calls him—does not mind one bit showing me his sad, withered wiener.
By the sounds of the first paragraph, the interview definitely appears to be captivating and we have to say, the rest is pretty hilarious! There's also some talk about past projects and upcoming release of Dear John.

For any Channing Tatum fans out there, you might want to watch the behind-the-scenes video from the shoot:

The Real Biel - Jessica Biel Opens Up To Vogue

Jessica Biel is the lucky girl to cover Vogue's February 2010 cover. Shot by Mario Testino, the spread looks classically American. Of course, that's a given considering the fact she's wearing Ralph Lauren in the majority of the shots. We love the aesthetic, and absolutely die for the Oscar de la Renta gown, which was shot on location at the Getty Villa in Malibu. Styling by Tonne Goodman.

And a clip from the feature story...
Who is Jessica Biel? Let's admit it: She is a bit of a cipher. The girls who read the tabloids think of her as Justin Timberlake's on-again, off-again girlfriend; my aunt Nancy thinks of her as little Mary Camden from the mid-nineties WB series 7th Heaven; and most men under 40 think of her as the smokin' hottie who let Adam Sandler massage her breasts in I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. I think it is fair to say that Jessica Biel has not yet experienced a unifying cultural moment.

Eva Mendez Oils Up For Calvin Klein

Eva Mendes is heating things up for Calvin Klein Jeans! Oiled up on the beach, Mendes poses topless with male model Jamie Dornan. The duo also served as the spokesmodels for Calvin Klein Underwear's fall campaign (below). While the denim styles of the new CK Jeans ad may be covering more skin, it appears that the slip factor was multiplied to keep things hot. Shot by Steven Klein, these images are bound to turn heads!

Burberry Obsessed

Burberry blew us away in September, after Christopher Bailey sent our favorite collection of the season down the runway. The pieces are innovative and modern, but still hold true to Burberry's traditional roots. Not to mention everything is very functional and wearable.

Emma Watson is the perfect choice for the British fashion house, again fusing the old with the new. We love it! Alongside Emma, they've casted Alex (Emma’s brother), George Craig (rocker), Matt Gilmour (son of Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour), and Max Hurd (model). Both men's and women's collections are fantastic. Check out some of the lookbook images below:
